One: The meaning of the symbol in the menu

Commands in menus are usually made up of icons and command text, and some command text is followed by a shortcut key prompt.

But when we open the menu, we will find some symbols, such as the triangle, ellipsis, horizontal line, and so on, what do these symbols mean? "" Next to the menu command, which indicates that there are also several commands in this item that you can click to open a submenu, such as INSERT, Delete, and so on in the Table menu, which contains multiple commands.

menu command next to "...": indicates that executing the command opens a dialog box, such as "new", "Font", "replace", and so on.

The horizontal line in the menu is used to group, with more than 10 commands in each menu, or more, these commands can be divided into groups by function or feature, groups and groups with a horizontal line, such as the "File" menu, "new", "open", "close" and other commands for a group, "Save", "Save As", "version" As a group, page setup, print Preview, print, and so on, to make it easier to find the commands you want by using this category.

Fields are similar to formulas in MicrosoftExcel, specifically, field codes are similar to formulas, and field results are similar to the values calculated by formulas. This determines that the domain has two display forms, the field code and the field result. When you select a field, press the F9 key to generate a new field result.

Four: How to quickly close multiple documents?

In WORD2000, each open document displays an icon on the taskbar, and if you open a number of files, it can be cumbersome to close, even if you click the Close button in the Word window, only the currently active document will be closed.

To turn all open documents off at once and not quit Word, you can press the SHIFT key and click the File menu to select the Close all command.

If you want to close only a few of these documents, you can press CTRL and then click the icon for the document that you want to close on the taskbar, and the icons are raised in a sunken state. Right-click on the icon and select Close to close all selected documents. You can also minimize, restore, or maximize the selected document in this way.

These methods also apply to other Office components, such as Excel2000, PowerPoint2000, and WPS2000.
