Beyond compare two ways to set tab size

The following two kinds of methods are given in detail as follows:

Method is set in the Text Format dialog box under the Tools menu

Step open the Beyond compare software, we will see the software above the "Tool" menu, click it will pop-up Drop-down menu, select the "file format" command below, as shown in the following figure;

Step two opens the File Format dialog box, select a file format on the left (or the default text format below), click on the "Miscellaneous" tab on the right, locate the tab stop, adjust it in the box below, set it to the tab size you want, and don't forget to click the Save button when you're done. Otherwise, the settings are not valid.

Method two uses the "Format" button on the comparison session interface to enter the formatting

After familiar with the Beyond Compare software interface, we found that there is a "format" button on the text compare and text merge session interface, and we can also set the file comparison by using this button. Here is a text comparison session interface for example, to give you a demo.

Step by click on the text comparison session interface of the "format" button on the right side of the Drop-down Triangle, pop-up some of the built-in file format, we choose "Edit", as shown in the following figure;

Step two this will open the Text Format dialog box, we select the Miscellaneous tab, we found that there is also a tab stop, where we can also customize the size of the tab, when the setting is complete, click "OK", as shown in the following figure.
