1. Business Intelligence:

Business Intelligence solutions include effective storage and representation of key enterprise-level data, allowing authorized users to quickly and conveniently access and interpret the data.

2 OLTP: Online trantional Processing

OLTP is short for online transaction processing. It is used to describe the relational data storage designed and optimized to process transactional activities. Transactional activities refer to inserting, updating, and deleting rows in a table.

3 OLAP: Online Analytical Processing

OLAP designs and optimizes data structures for analysis activities. analysis activities refer to activities that focus on Data Reading applications, instead of optimizing data to modify data more effectively.

Many OLAP data are read-only during implementation.

4. Multi-dimensional dataset

It refers to a massive storage that can accommodate all relevant data in a single structure. This structure not only contains the source table, but also pre-aggregated values. A multi-dimensional dataset is also called a multi-dimensional data storage.
