Business Management Consulting Interview Checklist
First, Corporate Strategy
1. What is your opinion about the industry in which the company is located?
2. Please introduce the company's development process, the main business status and core competitiveness, key success factors?
3. In your opinion, what are the main problems restricting the development of the company today? What problems does the company need to solve at present?
4. Please talk about the company's strategic objectives and development plans for the next few years, and the future development of the company's ideas? (The company's future business areas and basic business models, etc.)
5. What do you think about the future development of the company? In your opinion, what are the major problems (difficulties) that may be faced by the company in the course of its future development?
6. What do you think the company has done to promote the company's strategy to its employees? Do employees agree with this strategy?
7. What core competencies do you think the company needs to achieve its strategic objectives?
8. Do you have specific action measures in order to achieve the strategic objectives of the enterprise? How effective is the implementation of these measures?
9. What are your ideas and suggestions for this strategic plan?
Second, Organization planning and post Setup
1. What are the main functions of the Department under your jurisdiction? How is the position set? What do you feel is the problem with departmental staffing? What is the cause?
2. What is the collaboration between this department and other departments? How do you coordinate relationships with these departments in your daily work? What problems exist? Do your co-ordination work be done independently or through the respective leadership?
3. In your opinion, does the company's position system have unclear responsibilities or overlapping, missing or disjointed responsibilities, duplication of duties, or unscientific job management issues? If so, what are the positions? What problems are present?
4. In your opinion, what is the core department of the company? What are the main concerns of the company? What factors need to be considered? What is the status of human resources in this sector (talent status)?
5. What do you think is the biggest problem in the organization structure and post management of the company at present? How should the organizational structure and post management be adjusted to achieve the company's development strategy?
6. What are your suggestions and expectations for this organization's planning and post setup?
Third, process and System Management
1. What are the rules and regulations of the various departments of the company, do you think these systems have a strong guidance to the actual work? (please illustrate)
2. What are the cross-departmental business involved in your work? What other departments do you need to deal with, and what do you think of their cooperation?
3. Please talk about the company's internal communication and coordination mechanism (within the company between the departments, between the subordinate, etc.), when the coordination between the departments of the problem, you generally how to solve?
4. What are the current processes and how is the company operating?

Four, Remuneration Performance

Tips:
? Middle and senior managers should focus on strategic, process and organizational planning part of the outline;
? At the grassroots level, focus on the process and part of the compensation performance outline.
