BW Delta queue study-update Method

Method 1: "direct Delta"

Advantages of this update mode:

A. You do not need to set a job in the OLTP background to regularly pull data and write it to Delta queue;

B. Delta queue extraction results are not affected by V2 UPDATE results;

Disadvantages of this update mode:

Will greatly affect the performance of the OLTP R3 System <write Delta queue at the same time as V1 Update>;

This update mode is recommended for OLTP systems where the number of new and modified documents is less than 10000 per day;

 

Method 2: "queued Delta"

After V1 update is complete, the extracted data will be automatically written to the extraction queue, and then regularly written to the BW Delta queue through the background job. A total of 10000 documents exist as a luw Delta queue;

Advantages of this update mode:

Ensure the order of the document columns;

Better data update Performance;

Not Affected by V2 UPDATE results;

 

Method 3: "unserialized V3 Update"

This update mode can be used when the extracted data records are large and there is no order required;

Advantages of this update mode:

A. It has the least impact on system performance compared to other update modes;

Disadvantages of this update mode:

A. Whether the update is successful or not will be affected by the success or failure of the V2 update;

B. Special settings are required for the BW segment to store data;
