I. Why are there manyWANPort?
A vro connects to multiple bandwidths for the following purposes:
Increase bandwidth: An online host can access the Internet through any bandwidth. In terms of applications, it is equivalent to a higher-speed bandwidth.
Redundant backup:If one of the bandwidth fails, you can use other bandwidth to access the Internet to ensure that the network is smooth and uninterrupted.
ISPRoute selection:That is to say, "access to China Unicom and access to China Telecom go through China Telecom", so that the access purpose is in the correct path.
2. Can I overlay the bandwidth of multiple bandwidths?
A: There are two considerations:
[1] for the whole Lan, the number of outgoing bandwidth is too large, which is equivalent to the increase in total bandwidth.
[2] for a specific host, it is related to the application of the host to determine whether multiple bandwidths can be superimposed. Let's use a column to answer:
The interface router of the network where host A is located pulls two bandwidths, as shown below:

Meaning:Here, M is Mbps and 1 Byte = 8 bit, for example, 512 Kbps = 64 KBps.
When other hosts Occupy bandwidthAWhat is the Internet bandwidth?
Upload:
The maximum upload speed of a host to a server on the Internet is 64 KBps (512 Kbps) or 2.5 MBps (20 Mbps ). The reason is that only one WAN port can be used for uploading to the same server. For example, QQ uploads email attachments and Baidu online storage uploads.
Download
Two download methods are available: multi-link download and single-link download:
Multi-link download:For example, if you enable download on Thunder, if the number of resources is greater than 1, it indicates multiple links. At this time, the bandwidth can reach 24 M, that is, the bandwidth of the WAN port can be superimposed. Common applications such as P2P download and P2P video.
Single link download:For exampleRight-click>Save targetTo save a file locally. This type of download is point-to-point download and can only go through a fixed WAN port. Therefore, the download speed is 500 KBps (4 Mbps) or 2.5 MBps (20 Mbps) and cannot be superimposed. Common applications include downloading documents on a company's website.
Generally, it is a single link, and the maximum bandwidth can only be used to experience a certain WAN port.
III. Answer questions
[1]Can I overwrite multiple single-link downloads?
Under normal circumstances, it can be superimposed. Multiple single links are equivalent to multiple links. However, the target server must be different. Otherwise, point-to-point transmission will continue.
[2]
Do Thunder download have to be multi-link?
Not necessarily. To determine whether multiple links are available, check the number of available resources on Thunder. If the value is 1, it indicates a single link.
[3]Can multi-link download be superimposed?
In general, multi-link download can be superimposed. However, if all links access the Internet through a WAN port, they cannot be overlapped.
