Problem
A user sends a message to a user or group in a Lotus Notes client because of a mistake, he wants to take it back and make a change, but he has pressed the sent button. So is it possible to take back the messages that have been sent?
Answer
When the user is in Lotus Notes client or Domino? When you click the Send button in Web access, there is no way to get the message back, that is, there is no way to prevent the recipient from reading the message in their mailbox store.
The workaround is:
The administrator can open the Mail.box on the server to see if the message is still in the Mail.box and, if it is, can be deleted immediately. If this message has been routed to the recipient, and the administrator has access to the recipient's mailbox library, the administrator can open the recipient's mailbox library and delete the message.
This issue has been submitted to the Lotus Quality Center as a request for enhanced functionality, and there is no plan to add this functionality to the Notes/domino 6.x/7.x. This feature has been added to the Notes/domino 8.x.
