CentOS Network settings in VMware

background :
The laptop has two network cards:
1. Wired Network card Connection company intranet, only configure the intranet IP and subnet mask;
2. Wireless card, connect 4g wireless router, DHCP automatic configuration.
Questions :
CentOS cannot connect to the extranet after installing CentOS5.6 in VMware.
Solution :
1. Select CentOS in VMware, right-click Virtual machine settings, select Network adapter, select Bridge Mode, check the status of replication physical network connection;
2. VMware left top corner menu select Edit, virtual network editor, check VMnet0, the following vmnet information, check the bridge mode, and then the drop-down box to bridge to select Wireless, which is connected to the external network wireless network card, determine
3. Edit the CentOS network configuration:
vim /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0,
Content is

    DEVICE=eth0    HWADDR=虚拟网卡地址，不用改    ONBOOT=yes    BOOTPROTO=static    USERCTL=yes    PEERDNS=yes    IPV6INIT=no    NM_CONTROLLED=yes    TYPE=Ethernet    NETMASK=255.255.255.0    IPADDR=192.168.0.44     //这里要设置跟路由器lan在同一网段    GATEWAY=192.168.0.1  // 这里设置路由器地址

4. Restart Network SERVICE Command

Service Network restart

5. Ping www.baidu.com is ready.
