Nload is a simple and easy-to-use bandwidth flow monitoring tool under Linux, and dynamic graphics based on character interface display the current traffic of the NIC.
However, CentOS official source does not have it, can not directly use Yum installation. We can download the third party RPM release platform and recommend the following source, which releases multiple RPM packages
http://pkgs.repoforge.org/nload/
Installation method:
1. Find the appropriate version: As of this writing time 2013-6-7 the latest version of the 0.7.4,CENTOS6 corresponding version is el6, 32-bit system using i686. My Linode VPS, 32-bit CENTOS6, was chosen nload-0.7.4-1.el6.rf.i686.rpm
2. Switch to root to run RPM installation directly, that is
RPM-IVH HTTP://PKGS.REPOFORGE.ORG/NLOAD/NLOAD-0.7.4-1.EL6.RF.I686.RPM3. Cut back to ordinary users, running nload, that is, the dynamic graphics based on characters, very concise. Press the direction key to switch the next network card
