Features of the MyISAM storage table:
Use three files per table to save
. frm: Table structure definition file
. MYD: Table data file, storing data
. MYI: Table Index file
InnoDB Storage Table Features:
InnoDB When you save a table, you share multiple table data in a tablespace file. This method is not easy to maintain the table. Therefore, it is recommended that each table use a separate tablespace file.
Therefore, you need to edit the MySQL configuration file, add the following line:
#vim/etc/my.cnf
innodb_file_per_table = 1
Then restart the MySQL service.
This method of storage contains three files per table:
. frm: Table structure definition file
. IBD: Tablespace file (used to store table data and table indexes)
. OPT: Table parameter file
