But there is still a controversy behind the trend of the whole circle of learning: is interactive design or visual design a dynamic effect?

In the eyes of many laymen, it's nice to see an app animation, often blurted out, "Wow, this app is great for interaction!". Or the boss thinks the product is too rigid, will say to everybody "our product interaction needs to be polished again". In fact, in the strict sense, dynamic effect as part of interactive feedback is also the category of interactive design, but most of the interaction designers do not have the ability to design, and generally do not do this kind of thing, and now hard to learn the effect is often the visual Daniel. Because of the increasingly popular flat, designers are beginning to use simpler elements to highlight content as much as possible. But if it is purely flat, it is a bit too rough, giving people a very rigid interface, not how to design the feeling. So in order to fill this problem, the dynamic effect can make the flat interface more lively.

Skype, for example, adds a jelly effect to the normal menu pop-up process, making the whole interface a lot cuter. Similar to this kind of dynamic effect there are many in fact just for good-looking and made, they belong to the visual design part, is to make the interface vision better.

So we can see that the dynamic effect that takes into account the interaction of the functional, but also has the characteristics of aesthetics, should be interactive designers and visual designers to cooperate with each other results.

Our team is in the process of specific dynamic design, interaction designers will play the role of Director, visual designer to play the role of photographer. In the design of the dynamic effect, the interaction designer should first understand what the problem can be solved by the dynamic effect, what needs to be applied in the scene, and the realization of the control effect of natural soft do not overdo. and visual designer not only responsible for the production of dynamic effect, but also according to the characteristics of the product plus a lot of stylized effect.

Interactive designers are not dynamic producers, compared to visual designers not only more convenient to modify the product material, and the product's visual control ability is also stronger, so more suitable to become a producer. So I think the interaction designer should learn more about the principle of the realization of dynamic effect, learn how to use the dynamic effect to solve the problem, and think about the concept of dynamic effect. But encourage the visual designer to master the dynamic production technology as much as possible, let own effect diagram move up.

Visual designers need the control of interactive designers to avoid becoming vases in dynamic design.
