This series is written today (1,2), I intend to do a complete series, from the company basically can use the things are written, what changes in the 2008r2, can bring you what kind of ease of access and management convenience. There are also high levels of the primary, according to the subject of their own to determine whether to read. Oh.
This article briefly describes the file server, file server basically in every company will use, or FTP, a lot of internal use of FTP is what, that is because there is no use of the domain, or to 2003 and 2008 do not understand. Find it difficult to operate, only to select the FTP.
This article hopes to be able to understand the Windows file server to play a certain help.
The current structure is only one NS1 and Win7.
Our environment as the company's development will be more diversified, is still the basic environment.
Because our environment in the company just started, the server is not perfect, temporarily using the only one ns1 as a domain server, now have file requirements, have to use file sharing in ns1 to act as a file server.
This article is divided into creating shares and configuring permissions and verifying sharing (Figure 1)
1. Create a share
First of all, we create a folder on NS1 D disk or other data disk, can be named data or share, in this case, only a C disk, so in C disk created a share folder.
Then we right-click on the share, select Share, and set everyone in the permission to read the total folder configuration for the click Completion. (Figure 2)
Then we create a folder for the department in the share, this example assumes that the test we already have is a department, and Test1 is another department.
When the folder is created, we start to configure each department's permissions, and each department sees only its own folders and access. Configure security in this folder of test. Remove the account from the system and administrator, and then add the test account to the security permissions and complete control. (Figure 3)
Test1 folder, we do not give the test this account permissions, only the administrator rights reserved. (Figure 4)
To complete the configuration, we enter the NS1 Access file server on the Win7 client as shown in the figure. (Figure 5)
Click Share to go to see your own Test folder, but Test1 is not visible. Here, if you need a manager to see all of the People's folders, add the manager's account in security.
Departments generally have a few or even dozens of of users, you can create a group of dozens of users, and then configure the security inside the group has Full Control permissions, this example is configured to access this folder to users, to give a user group access to a department folder is similar to the operation. (Figure 6)
Try the permissions and create a text file in test. (Figure 7)
Create OK (Figure 8)
Try the deletion (Figure 9)
Confirm deletion. (Figure 10)
Deletion completed successfully. (Figure 11)
The following is a case of accessing NS1 on the 2008r2 machine because the administrator account is logged on 2008r2, and you can see that all the folders are visible to the privileged user. (Figure 12)
and open it to see the content. (Figure 13)
