1. HTML 5/js Tools1.1 HTML5 Perspective grid (for optimization of network applications)

The HTML5 perspective grid allows you to create multidimensional data analysis pivot tables. The DevExpress HTML5 perspective grid supports data provided through OLAP Services (MS SQL Server Analysis Services), which also connects to any JSON data. By using the built-in perspective grid functionality, large datasets can be summarized into a cross-table format, while the necessary sorting and filtering is possible. Because the perspective grid comes with numerous runtime customization options, end users can freely change their layouts and PivotChart reports based on specific business requirements.

1.2 HTML5 Scheduler (for optimization of network applications)

The HTML5 Scheduler tool enables timesheets to display appointments or calendar events (local or Remote Storage resources). With this tool, you can create different types of appointments. Appointments can be displayed using predefined views.

2. Theme Enhancements2.1 New Compact Generic themes

This release comes with a compact platform-agnostic theme that allows you to better organize large sets of UI elements on a single page.

2.2 New high-contrast universal themes

With the addition of high-contrast platform-agnostic themes, you can now optimize applications or websites that have visual impairments.

2.3 improving iOS 8 and Android 5 themes

In the new version, iOS 8 and Android 5 themes are automatically applied to your Devextreme application when running any iOS or Android drivers. Outdated iOS 6 and Android 4 themes will no longer be used.
