There have been several recent anomalies in JBoss 's irregular auto-shutdown, with history commands and last login information showing no signs of manipulation.

Later, some of the information was given by theJBoss official forum:
1.JBoss itself does not have a mechanism to automatically shutdown;
2.JBoss can be closed via the Web console, but we have removed the relevant packages;
3.JBoss may accept CTRL + C or non-background running session interrupt signal to execute shutdown.

Later I found our situation and the 3rd very similar:

To view the history record, the last time that JBoss was started was done at 05:49:20 by executing the Restart_jboss. Sh script:

It then finds the Restart_jboss. Sh script in Jack's home directory with the Find command.

Continue to review the script content, found that after a series of operations, finally performed the service JBoss start and tail-f./log/server.log, I suspect that Jack's abnormal exit led to the JBoss And then tested on the virtual machine.
As it turns out, if you close the client window directly after executing the script, instead of exiting gracefully with exit,JBoss will automatically execute the shutdown and the situation is very easy to reproduce.

However, according to the rationale, we are using the JBoss official own script, should be with other software such as Apache, such as the script to let the process of the future service to run the way, should not receive non-background running session interrupt signal. But after repeated testing, it proves that it is not as trustworthy as we thought.

Therefore, we would better add nohup to ensure that JBoss does not receive the interrupt signal from the session: Nohup service JBoss start.
