Environmental musician Matthew lien: confluence album
In 1997, the famous Matthew came to China to visit the charm of oriental culture. This year, he discussed music with Chinese musicians and studied some ancient oriental instruments he had never heard of before. The mysterious ancient instrument fascinated him and quickly applied the results to his new album confluence. The Chinese instrument is simple in shape and comes from nature. It has a wide range of music and sound. Matthew was inspired to make confluence quite special by blending his unfamiliar Asian instrument with a western instrument that is already familiar with his chest. Confluence completely removes the electronic synthetic instrument, but uses a large number of eastern and western instruments to create the most authentic picture. Matthew uses the Chinese ErHu to echo the violin, works with chinachaona and sa style, and integrates the ierlandi and banjiqin to achieve seamless effect. Confluence has a huge recording project, with more than 50 people taking part in the recording. Finally, it was produced by the sound mixing master berniegrundman, making it another peak in Matthew's music career.
