Wireless LANIt is a very convenient data transmission system. It uses the RF technology to replace the local network consisting of the old-style twisted-pair copper wires, so that the wireless local network can use a simple access architecture for users to access it, it is more convenient to obtain information.

With the popularization of wireless technology, wireless networking has gradually become a trend. Wireless Networks have obvious advantages over wired networks. First, each client of the wireless network does not have to connect a pair of twisted-pair copper wires, secondly, WLAN is much more convenient than wired LAN in network maintenance. Therefore, the demand for wireless networking is getting stronger and stronger for small and medium-sized enterprises, regardless of their families. So how should we deploy a wireless LAN so that it can run efficiently? What aspects should we pay attention to during the deployment process to improve work efficiency? Let's talk about the following points:

Maximum advantage of Wireless LAN

As we all know, the stability and transmission performance of wired networks are worthy of recognition. However, the construction of a wired LAN is affected by the Environment, geography, and cost, and the changes are not flexible and convenient. Wireless LAN has many incomparable advantages, without the environmental impact, not limited by geographical factors, reducing the high cost of wiring, and more importantly, making changes very convenient in the future, in addition, it can expand the quantity at will without increasing the cost, bringing the greatest convenience to enterprises and families.

What should I pay attention to when setting up a wireless lan?

When deploying a wireless LAN, we often need to carefully consider many details to ensure that a successfully established Wireless LAN has high performance:

1. In an attempt to connect to a remote LAN through a wireless LAN, the building in which the remote LAN is located should maintain a clear line of sight as much as possible. If the wireless LAN needs to pass through obstacles such as tall buildings or dense trees, the established Wireless LAN transmission performance will not be perfect. After all, those obstacles will directly affect the normal transmission of data signals in the wireless LAN.

2. When the distance between the remote network and the local LAN is relatively long, we can appropriately reduce the size of the network transmission bandwidth to achieve the purpose of long-distance data transmission. If we really need to implement long-distance wireless transmission, we may try to set up a wireless LAN relay station in the middle so as to bypass the obstacles of Internet signals. When wireless LAN signals are transmitted at close distance, in order to obtain the maximum transmission bandwidth, several wireless bridges can be integrated with each other, at the same time, the antenna height of the wireless LAN is basically unaffected.

3. It is also very important to properly set the antenna height of the wireless LAN device. If we do not set the antenna height of the wireless LAN device well, the wireless transmission effect obtained by increasing the antenna gain or increasing the power of the antenna is very limited. Then we can consider deploying the antennas of wireless nodes on the top of the building, and try to use small antennas to ensure the relative concentration of radio waves, this helps avoid interference from other wireless LAN network signals.

4. Although the wireless LAN transmission uses the frequency hopping technology, it is difficult to detect the frequency carrier of the internet signal. Therefore, only when the two sides set the same network ID, in order to transmit wireless Internet access signals securely. If we want to further ensure the security of the wireless LAN, we can also encrypt wireless Internet access signals.

Flexible selection of Wireless LAN structures when building a wireless LAN network outside, we can usually have the following types of structures available, such as point-to-point structure, one-to-multiple-point structure, multiple-to-one structure, and hybrid structure. Different structures are suitable for different work scenarios. We must make targeted choices based on the actual situation.

Point-to-Point

This Wireless LAN construction structure is generally used between two fixed locations that require wireless connection. This construction structure is almost the most commonly used wireless connection method, A wireless LAN network built in this architecture can generally obtain high wireless signal transmission speeds and facilitate remote transmission of wireless Internet signals, it is slightly affected by external signal interference.

One-to-many

This Wireless LAN architecture is often used when a LAN has a central point and multiple remote work points. The wireless LAN built with this structure often has the advantages of low networking cost and simple network maintenance. At the same time, due to the use of an omnidirectional antenna in the LAN center, wireless access debugging is relatively easy.

Multi-point to one-point structure

This Wireless LAN construction structure is an effective combination of multiple point-to-point structures. It is often used in LAN networks with multiple remote work points and a central point, each remote work point has its own corresponding device at the center point. This construction structure often has the advantages of reliable performance and stable transmission.

Hybrid Structure

This Wireless LAN construction structure is almost applicable to all remote work sites and close-up work points in the LAN, and even to work points with obstacles. when building a relatively complex Wireless LAN network, we can try to use a point-to-point structure, a point-to-point structure, and a point-to-point structure, for example, you can consider using point-to-point connection when setting up a remote work point. You can use a point-to-point connection when setting up a close-range workstation point. You can use a relay connection when setting up a work point with obstacles.

Summary

When constructing a network, a wireless LAN usually uses wireless devices with strong signals. In fact, this method is incorrect. The higher the signal capability of wireless devices, the higher the sensitivity of wireless access, and the stronger the penetration capability of wireless Internet access signals during transmission. However, if the signal of the wireless device is too strong, the effective signal coverage of the wireless LAN is very large, but the range of the actual controllable area is just getting smaller, the security of Wireless LAN access is significantly affected.
