Step 1: select the Networking Mode

Step 2: hardware Installation

Turn off the computer, open the hosts box, insert the wireless network card into the idle PCI slot of the motherboard, and restart. After you re-enter the Windows XP system, the system prompts "new hardware found" and tries to automatically install the NIC driver. The "find new hardware wizard" dialog box is displayed for manual installation. Click the "auto install software" option to insert the drive disk that comes with the NIC into the optical drive, and click the "Next" button to install the driver. Click "finish.

After connecting to the wireless network, open IE, enter 192.168.1.1 in the address box, enter the logon user name and password (the default user name is blank), and click "OK" to go to the router settings page. Click "Basic settings" in the left-side window and set the IP address in the window on the right. The default value is 192.168.1.1.
