Fedora 14 wireless network card (rtl8191sevb) Installation

First, run the following command:

Lspci | grep Network

View the wireless network card model. My computer output is:

. 0 network controller: RealTek semiconduco., Ltd. rtl8191sevb Wireless LAN Controller (Rev 10)

Go to the RTL official website to download the driver. Enter the URL:

Http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/

Enter:

Rtl8191se

Select the driver to download from the search results.

 

Decompress the downloaded file and CD it to the decompressed file.

Su

Make & make install

Restart the computer and the system will automatically detect the wireless network. The wireless network card is successfully installed.
