Fireworks MX at the beginning of the experience 3-2

If you choose to use different tools in the Toolbox, the Properties panel will have different attributes, so let's see what happens when we choose the text Input tool.



As you may have noticed, the parts of the red box are newly added features that are not in the fireworks4.0. So what are they used for? Let's use the Word input tool to enter some words, here I use is the Han Ling heart body, each input seven words press ENTER after another paragraph and then input, the font size used is 46.



Then we insert the cursor in the middle of the line, or use the mouse to select the middle Word, and then adjust the following figure



　　　

Through practice, we know that the highlighted part of the figure above can be used to adjust the spacing between selected and preceding paragraphs.

　　

The highlighted section of the Properties panel in the previous illustration can be used to adjust the spacing between the selected paragraphs and the following paragraphs.

　

The highlighted section of the properties panel above can adjust the indent of the first word in the selected paragraph, and we can see the corresponding effect next to it.

We press the highlighted section in the Properties panel below and a menu pops up.

　

Horirontal left to right: The text you enter is arranged horizontally from left-to-right. This is also how the default input text is arranged in fireworks MX.

Horizontal Right-to-left: The text you enter is arranged horizontally from the right to the left. Select the layer where we entered the text above, and then use this command to get the effect shown in the following figure



Vertical left to right: The text you enter is arranged vertically from left-to-right, select the layer where we entered the text, and use this command to get the result shown in the following figure



Vertical Right-to-left: The text you enter is arranged vertically from right to left. Use this command to get the effect shown in the following figure



By understanding the text input, the property panel changes, we can feel that in the Fireworks MX Chinese editing function has been greatly improved.

We look at the use of Eraser, the Properties panel on how the situation, first open a picture (only when editing a bitmap, the eraser to use), at this time the property panel as shown in the following figure



In the illustration above, the red section can set the size of the eraser, the yellow part adjusts the feather value of the eraser (weakening from the center), the Green section can choose the shape of the eraser (round or rectangular), and the Blue section adjusts the transparency of the eraser picture.

Below we set the size of the eraser to 15,edge:50, the shape of the circle, the transparency of 50%, and then randomly wipe a picture, the effect is as follows



From the above effect picture we can see that the effect of wiping is not very obvious, below why is transparent? Because we have just set the transparency of the eraser to 50,edge set to 50, so the wipe is not very thorough. When we open a picture, the default background color of the fireworks MX is transparent.

OK, this time we change the background color to green (the background is set to Modify>canvas>canvas color), the eraser is set to size:15,edge:0, the shape of the eraser is round, the transparency is set to 100, and then to wipe this picture, The final effect is shown in the following figure



This time the wipe is thorough, the green background below clearly appears.
