Fitch and Mather 7.0 Overview

The Fitch and Mather 7.0 Enterprise Edition example is essentially a porting version of Fitch and Mather 2000 (see version history) on. NET technology. Although this example is built around a fictitious securities branch, it has the following areas of focus:

• Performance
• The technical problem of porting Windows DNA (Microsoft Windows distributed Internet application program structure) structure to. NET Framework is as follows,
• Integration and interoperability with earlier versions
• The actual deployment scheme in the distributed computing environment.

This example does not focus on the functional requirements of the application. However, in terms of functionality, this example does contain other typical pages such as logon and cancellation processes, account management, stock search and transaction mechanisms, SQL queries, and stock trading at home. These features cover many aspects of. NET technology and have enough complexity to explain the main focus areas. However, Fitch and Mather 7.0 lack basic brokers, transaction processing, and real-time financial services, making it not a fully functional stock trading application. This example cannot be used as a complete and deployable application.

Fitch and Mather 7.0 demonstrate the performance of. NET Framework applications. To compare the performance of Windows DNA schema applications (Fitch and Mather 2000) and. NET Framework applications, Fitch and Mather 7.0 do not optimize the transactions transplanted from Fitch and Mather 2000. In fact, the databases and stored procedures used by the two programs are actually the same. The Logical Distribution of the software structure is the same, so that the performance differences can be analyzed from the Windows DNA structure and the implementation of the. NET Framework.

To demonstrate how to port the Windows DNA structure.. NET Framework provides structural guidance or key points for each process executed in the example, and describes the advantages of the optional method in detail. The Fitch and Mather 7.0 Design Group compiled a "general accounting module" (GAM) in the unmanaged C ++ and installed it as a COM + application, to solve the integration problem with the old version of the program.
