Not long ago, because I was tired of the default style in Dreamweaver, I changed the code color, last week I think I should go into the font again, see if it is possible to choose another font to form a new style theme.
There are many benefits to choosing a font, and the most prominent benefit (depending on your choice) is that you can see more code in the horizontal direction, reducing the drag slider. But if you use automatic wrapping, that doesn't matter to you.
Listed below are 5 of the 15 fonts I've been looking for in so many days.
Goodbye Courier New, although you're great, but I'm going to say goodbye to you right now.
1. Droid Sans Mono: It's very beautiful and now it's my favorite programming font. Droid Sans Mono is a member of Google's droid font family, dedicated to the development of apps on Android platforms. When the size is 10pt, the character spacing is appropriate. But if you're using a smaller-resolution screen (I'm using 1280x800 now), using 9pt can show more code on the screen.
Best size: 9pt or 10pt (see)
2. Proggy: The name looks impeccable. Proggy fonts have many different derived fonts, and for me proggy font crisp and proggy font clean are the most appropriate.
Best size: 12pt (see)
3. Lucida Console: The lowercase letter is especially beautiful, I also use it at the terminal (coincidentally, it has a Console in its name, but this is not the reason why I chose it). If you are using Windows, chances are that you already have this font, and if not, you can download it here.
Best size: 9pt (see)
4. Profont: If you need to conserve the use of every pixel on the screen, Profont is perfect for you. It is small, but still very clear, but before the gap is a bit large, on the UL seems particularly obvious. How small is it?
Best size: 9pt (see)
5. Envy Code R: This font is recommended by a colleague of mine. It has a cool name, and Jason has used envy code R as a coded font for some time. It is a serif font with the same gap in the middle of each character. But I think it takes up too much space in terms of height.
Best size: 10pt (see)
Just in case ...
If you are interested in any of the above fonts, first write down the fonts you are using in your application. The big chance is that courier New (which uses Dreamweaver on a PC is especially likely to use courier New), and if you don't like the font above, you might want to go back to your original font.
