In this tutorial we use the drawing features of Flash 8 to depict a delicate vector image--lifelike potatoes. The procedure is simple and easy to operate, and the effect is excellent.
First let's take a look at the effect of the finished production, as shown in Figure 1.
Step one: Create virtual lights and potato profiles
1 Although the plane vector map, but in order to be realistic, we still have to achieve a more realistic through the virtual lighting effect. First set the background color to #999999, scene size: 420*200, and then create a layer, named ' light source ', in frame 7th, press F5 to create a keyframe, in the upper-left corner of the drawing area with a drawing tool to draw a virtual light (as shown in Figure 2) This light will determine the shaded area and the high light area of our potatoes.
2 then create a layer under light source named ' Potato ' and then use the Pencil tool and the pen tool (line color for #000000) to draw the potato contour as shown in Figure 3:
3 Create a layer under potato, name ' shadow ', and then use pencil tool and pen tool (line color for #000000) according to the position of the light source, draw the outline of the shadow of the projection of the potato, in order to express clearly, I here with the Red Representative as shown in Figure 4:
Step two: Color the potatoes
Press F6 on the 2nd frame of the potato to create a radiation gradient to fill the potatoes with the parameters, as shown in Figure 5:
Color Block color is: #DDC258 #CC9900 #736017, in the color of the time to pay attention to the direction of light source, the middle of the high light area, the upper and lower side of the shadow area, so darker. So when you're done, you have to modify the range and angle of the fill, as shown in Figure 6:
Please click on "Next", we create the gradient effect of the shadow
Step three: Fill in the fade color of the shadow
In order to make the shadow more real, I need three graphics here to complete, let the shadow Fade away, the detailed production process is as follows:
1 Press F6 on the 3rd frame on the shadow layer, for easy operation can first hide the potato layer, we will be the shadow layer of the graphics all selected, press the CRTL key does not put drag copy 1, and then select the copied graphics, with the deformation tool, the width and height of each add 3 pixels, and then copy this graphic, Duplicate one, the same with the deformation tool, the width and height of each increment of 3 pixels, that is, the first copy of the graphic is larger than the original Figure 3 pixels, the second copy of the graphic larger than the original figure 6 pixels. (Note that three graphs should have a certain distance).
2 with a different fill color, the three graphics fill the color, the shape from small to large fill color is:
The fill color of the smallest shape
Its color block color is #000000, #736017, medium graphics fill color is pure black, alpha is: 70%, large graphics fill color is also pure black, alpha is: 30%, respectively fill. The fill angle of the smallest shape is shown in Figure 7 below:
The other two shapes are filled directly, and then the outer border of the three shapes is deleted.
3 Three graphics all selected, press ctrl+k alignment, select horizontal, vertical center, shadow completed. The lifelike effect is shown in Figure 8 (only part of the interception):
Note: If you align, the shadow position changes, and the profile moves back to its original position.
4 Press F6 on the 3rd frame of the potato layer and remove the border from the potato.
As shown in Figure 9:
Now the production is finished, the appearance of potatoes has come out, but too smooth, not real, we are in the next refinement processing.
Fourth step: Making Textures
This texture layer is designed to make people feel that this potato is rugged, the principle is to use a potato-like graphics, fill the color darker, less transparent color, and then wipe off the color with the eraser, exposing the part is the high light area, not erase the part is dark color area, so there is rugged feeling. The specific steps are as follows:
1 Create a new layer on the potato layer, the name is ' detail ', then right click on the 3rd frame of the potato layer, select ' Copy Frame ', click Frame 4th on detail layer, press F6, right-click the frame, select ' Paste frame '.
2 Fill this graphic with a solid color value of: #9D7B0D alpha:10%. Finally with the eraser out of the high light area, wipe the effect as shown in Figure 10 (for everyone to see clearly, I will choose this graphic, hehe):
The complete effect is shown in Figure 11:
Step Fifth: Add a shadow to the potato
1 Create a new layer on the detail layer, the name is ' Potato Shadow ', then right click on Frame 3rd of the potato layer, select ' Copy Frame ', click 5th frame on Potato Shadow layer, press F6, right-click this frame, select ' Paste frame '.
2 Fill this graphic with a radial gradient, as shown in the following figure:
Two color blocks are black, with alpha values of 10%, 100% respectively.
3 The fill angle needs to be adjusted as shown in Figure 12:
4 We use the lasso work to remove most of the above layer, only leave the following Shadow section, because the direct deletion shadow effect is too false, so, we also need to use the lasso in succession to the top of the shadow select some areas, respectively, with pure black different alpha:15% 12% 8% 7% 5% fill the selected area. The effect of the final shadow is as shown in the following illustration:
To make it look clear, I turned the background color white and hid the other layers.
Add the final effect of the shadow as shown in Figure 13:
Sixth step: Add ' little spots ' to potatoes
Create a new layer on the Potato Shadow layer, named ' Dirt ', in frame 6th, press F6. Then the pencil tool draws a small blob, with this color (the color value is: #704005, alpha:40%) Fill, remove the border, select this small spot, according to F8 defined as a component, and finally copy this small spot bar, add to want to add the position, with a pencil on the potatoes with two pens, add a potato small bud. The little hemp potatoes are in the oven!
