With the popularity of digital cameras, every trip back will face the number of hundreds of photo-finishing, processing efficiency is still a very important factor. ACDSee 3.1 (full version) is still my most popular photo viewing/archiving tool. Here's a summary of the experience of using ACDSee for photo finishing and HTML album generation, most of which can only be done with keyboard operations.
Photo Rollup and Bulk renaming
You can start by summarizing all the photos of your digital camera into a single directory, sorting by time and renaming in batches
Sort by time: in ACDSee browser mode, press: F12 Browse in the details list mode, if there is no last update (modified) field in the List field, press CTRL + 4 on the numeric keypad, and press the last update column
Batch renaming: Select All pictures: Ctrl + A then press the right mouse button to choose Rename Series or Alt + R to bring up the interface by the number of batch rename, enter "###" to rename the picture to 001.jpg 002.jpg ...
View/Adjust Photos
Switch to Picture view mode: Double-click a file, the previous one: PageUp after a PageUp or space:
Delete a picture: DEL
Flip/Invert Picture: JPEG lossless conversion, photo processing: The most common is to switch 竖幅 face photos into banners, preferably with JPEG TRANSFORM (lossless) rather than built-in image processing tools Photo enhancer: Because JPEG Transform does not modify the last modification time of the photo, and does not affect the resolution, and photo enhancer modifies the last modification time of the photo, and the option to compress the storage.
How to: ==> JPEG Transform via menu Tools or using shortcut keys Ctrl + J
HTML album Generation
In browse mode: Select all pictures: Ctrl + A, choose Plug-ins ==> HTML Generator in the menu, enter the title and thumbnail format settings, you can automatically generate an HTML album, recommended use format 200x150 pixels, 3 * 2 arrangement.
Many albums on this site are implemented using this feature: ACDSee generates a series of pages such as Page_##.htm
Background thumbnail library garbage disposal
Often using image processing machines acdsee to improve browsing speed, a lot of thumbnail libraries are generated, and after a while, the library can become very large (hundreds m), so it needs to be cleaned up frequently through the Thumbnail Library management tool.
Operation Interface: Menu ==> database ==> maintanence found, in order to save space to delete the corresponding databases directory node.
