15.1 associate Annotation
AutoCAD2002 adds two new dimension modifiers. When using these features, you do not need to set the annotation ratio or create special layers. This is a function of practical value and should be fully utilized. The objects associated with dimensions are the active controllers between dimensions and drawing lines:
Graphic drive Association annotation:
Associate the Annotation with the features of the relevant object or object. After editing the object, each structure in the associated annotation is automatically updated. If the default annotation value is used, it can also follow the New Annotation value.
Use the pass-through space Annotation
You can directly mark the image size of the model space in the layout space. You do not need to activate the floating view in the layout space to Directly mark the projection of the layout space (like the previous additional annotation) and establish association. You can update the labels for modifications to the original image of the model space, modifications to the position of the layout and the operations of translation and scaling.

Create annotation Association -- dimreassociate
"Annotation" menu: Re-associate annotation (N)
Command:Dimreassociate
Select the tag to be reassociated...
Select object: (select the dimension object to be associated)
Select object:
Note:
The prompt "select the annotation to be re-associated... it does not mean to simply process the "already associated" annotation, but also the non-associated annotation. Therefore, it is not necessary to "re-" it.
After the size object is selected, AutoCAD will show each selected annotation in sequence, and display a tag for each correlated vertex: If this vertex is not associated with the graph line, the tag is X; if this point has been associated with a line chart, it is marked as X in the box (if you use the mouse to pan or zoom, the mark will disappear ).
For dimensions of different types currently processed, the following Operation tips will be issued:
Linear/alignment annotation (DIM-HOR/VER/ALI ):
Specify the origin of the first dimension line or [select object (s)] <next>:
Specify the second dimension line origin <next>:
Angle annotation (three points) (Dim-Ang.3p ):
Specify angle vertices or [select an arc or circle] <next>:
Specify the first angle endpoint <next>:
Specify the second angle endpoint <next>:
Angle annotation (two lines) (DIM-Ang ):
Select the first line <next>:
Select the second line <next>:
Dim-Dia ):
Select an arc or circle <next>:
Lead annotation (qleader ):
Specify a Lead Association point <next>:
Coordinate annotation (DIM-ORD ):
Specify the Part Location <next>: (there is no concept of "part" to specify the points on the new object)
Radius annotation (DIM-rad)
Select an arc or circle <next>:
Note:
1> in the process of establishing association, AutoCAD will automatically use the geometric point extraction function to extract the point on the object.
2> You can associate dimensions with other objects.
3> the true meaning of "<next>" in the prompt is: Press enter to confirm the current status.
4> if no associated object is specified, the operation is invalid. The message "the annotation point is not reassociated." is displayed ."
Disassociate the annotation -- dimdisassociate
Command:Dimdisassociate
Select the tag to unassociate...
Select objects: n objects found
Select object:
N has been unbound.
Note: Only associate tags that are not on the lock layer and in the current space are processed.
Update Association annotation-dimregen
Note:
In most cases, AutoCAD can be automatically updated. The situations mentioned in the related support documents that cannot be automatically updated can actually be automatically updated. Therefore, this command is rarely used. Possible opportunities are:
1> the 3D model is marked and associated on the projection of the layout space, and the size of the 3D model is modified. In this case, you need to "update the Association ".
2> figure B refers to the line connecting figure A xref to the model space, creates a layout project, and then Marks and associates the layout. If you have modified the line of the source image of Map A, you will find that the line B is associated with the line. In this case, you need to "update the line ".
Related System variables dimassoc:
Type: integer. saved in the image. Initial Value: 2.
Controls the associations of New Dimension annotation objects created later.
0: Create a dimension for decomposition. Straight Lines, arcs, arrows, and labeled text are drawn as independent objects.
1: create a general dimension that is not associated with the drawing line.
2: Create a dimension label associated with the graphic object of the annotation.
If it is set to 2, or the dimension Association is performed, a new record item (102. "{acad_reactors"}) will be added to the graph line data structure "})
If the image is saved in the format of a version earlier than AutoCAD2002, the value of the dimassoc system variable will be retained, and the associated setting of the annotation will be restored when it is re-played with AutoCAD2002 or a later version.
If you open the image created in the old version in AutoCAD2002, The dimassoc system variable uses the value of the DiMaso system variable of the traditional image.
