If you need to back up all the libraries of the database, you can use the following command:
Mysqldump--opt--all-databases >/root/openstack.backup

If you are backing up just one of these libraries, you can use the following command
Mysqldump--opt Nova >/root/nova.backup

If you need backup every day, then you can write a script for a scheduled backup.

/usr/sbin/mysqldump--opt--all-database |gzip > $filename
Back up the data and compress it

Find $backupdir-ctime +7-type-f-delete Delete data from 7 days ago
