The digital photos we take are often the names of files, such as dsc1089.jpg or img_7543.jpg format, from which you can only see the sequence number, and if you want to view the date of the photograph, you have to use the System file properties or the tool software to extract the date view from the photo's EXIF metadata. In fact, you can use the batch file naming software bulk Rename Utility, the photos of the EXIF parameters to extract the date taken, as part of the photo file name. That way, when we see the name of the photo, we'll be able to identify which date was taken.
First, locate the photo file you want to batch name from the upper window directory tree of Bulk Rename utility. Select the files, and then select the check boxes after the automatic date parameter group; Choose as "suffix"; select "Shoot (original date)"; Select Format as "Year Month Day"; Separator Fill " _, which is used to connect the original file name and suffix, and the connector to fill in "-" to separate the date. After this setting, in the upper right side of the File Name Preview window, will immediately show the effect of renaming, you can see the file name after the addition of the shooting date (Figure 1), and finally click the "Rename" button to let the batch name take effect.
