Definition
Bhca: busy hour call attempts (number of test calls during busy hours). Within one hour, the system can establish the absolute logarithm of the call connection. Bhca is the maximum number of times of calling during busy hours, regardless of the traffic volume.
Busy hour call attempts represent the number of times a telephone call is attempted during the busiest hour of the day.
Caps: Call attempt per second (number of calls per second), which represents the call intensity. The bhca value is embodied in caps, and caps multiplied by 3600 is bhca.
Calculation Method
Bhca is an important indicator of call processing capability of control components of a Programmable switch. The formula is the number of calls per unit time. Caps multiplied by 3600 is bhca.
Caps = number of users × average traffic volume/average duration
Average Traffic: it refers to the average traffic volume of each user.
If the average number of calls when a user is busy is X, his/her caps = number of users * (x/3600)
Bhca = caps × 3600/users = average traffic × 3600/average service time
