The survey recently published by the Employment Guidance Center for college graduates in Beijing has been questioned by some college students. Beijing University Graduate Employment Guidance Center recently conducted a survey on the employment status of college students for two months. The survey targets include employment institutions in colleges and universities, junior students, fresh graduates, and employers. The survey methods include discussion visits, surveys, and field surveys. A total of 2996 valid questionnaires were collected.
The survey also pointed out that the contradiction between supply and demand of graduates is prominent, there are policy obstacles for enterprises to receive graduates, the employment market is not suitable for the needs of college students' employment, and the content of university employment guidance is superficial, it has become one of the four major reasons for capital College Students' Difficulty in employment.
Half of them cannot afford to be eliminated by Enterprises
Some companies say that the number of new graduates actually enrolled per year accounts for only 1/5 of the total number of employees planned to recruit. Within one or two years after receiving college students, the turnover rate reached more than half of the total number of enterprises surveyed.
According to statistics, nearly 50% of college students were eliminated because they did not meet the hard-working requirements of enterprises during their employment periods. According to some well-known companies such as McDonald's and hailai, the number of people who have been dismissed during the trial period has remained high because they cannot afford the hard work at the grassroots level.
In this regard, some college students say that it is only the harsh conditions put forward by the employer. Some employers leave the essence of their work in order to save costs, which is also one of the reasons for college students to seek another career.
"It is a waste of time to brush dishes when I have learned it for so many years ." A recent graduate from Beijing Industrial and Commercial University said that he had already obtained three jobs, but the positions assigned by the employer had nothing to do with the Major. Lack of learning and usage leads to difficulties in Job Search
According to the survey, 63% of college students have said "lack of work experience" is the biggest difficulty. However, some enterprises believe that the educational system pays too much attention to the theoretical model. The major and curriculum settings are separated from the actual social needs, which is the main cause of this problem.
"The papers written by students do not have the possibility of any practical operation. They have to learn them again at work ." Enterprise Employees also hope to cultivate more students' etiquette and Legal Ideas in the university.
According to the students, they still use exams and papers to evaluate the learning effect. Therefore, book knowledge is their only learning goal in the past four years. "We also want to practice more, but we don't have time ."
Some students said that in year 41, apart from finding a job, they wrote papers. "The essay should have three complete elements and be compliant with standards. Where can we still consider the feasibility ."
Ren zhanzhong, director of the Employment Guidance Center for college graduates in Beijing, said that with the establishment of the University Students' Teaching and employment practice base and the quality social evaluation system of college students, the practical ability of college students will be gradually strengthened. At the same time, the company's staff and frontline staff will be invited to teach students the actual work conditions and experience.
