Comparison tables and differences between MongoDB and MySQL
MySQL and MongoDB are both open-source common databases, but MySQL is a traditional relational database, while MongoDB is a non-relational database, also known as document-type database, and a NoSQL database. They have their own advantages. The key is to see where they are used. Therefore, the well-known SQL statements (Structured Query Language) do not apply to MongoDB, because SQL statements are the standard Language of relational databases.
Take our company project as an example. In earlier projects, we were using relational databases, SQL Server, Oracle, and DB2. Later we switched to Mysql for a simple reason: mysql has an open-source advantage when its performance is good. We mainly consider the transaction and high performance of Mysql. Later, because the project will use the user system, that is, there will be a large amount of user data for interaction-massive storage, there will be a bottleneck in the read/write speed of Mysql, as a result, we thought of Nosql, which has developed very strongly recently. With the development of memcache in the early days of Nosql, many non-relational databases, such as redis and mongodb, emerged. After a period of testing, redis and mongodb have obvious advantages over Mysql in reading and writing speed. Mongodb writes about 2.5 million data records per second.
