Course: Create Doraemon cartoon in Photoshop

[Jing Wei shared: Building Doraemon cartoon fonts with PS] Doraemon's childhood memories after 80 s. Today, I am excited again. I have a Doraemon font. Now I want to share the production process with you. It is very suitable for beginners of dream fans and PS.

As shown in the figure, isn't it easy? It looks quite simple, actually ...... It's really easy. You can use it as a trainer!

Step 1: Background

After opening the cute ps, we create a 600 pixel × 300 pixel document with a resolution of 72 pixels/inch. Set the foreground color to #30a1e4 and the background color to #056199. Select the gradient tool, open the gradient editor, and select the foreground color to the background color by default. Then pull a gradient from the center to the corner. This completes the background. It's easy!

 

Step 2: write text

Let's write a few words. Here I will take "zcool" as an example. You can write it at will. Set the text color to #066fb0, the font to "Mini amber", and the size to 90 o'clock. After writing the code, place it in the middle of the canvas. (This is not the point ).

 

Step 3: Add a pink elliptic

Place a few pink ovans (color: # cc8daa) at the end of the three letters Z, C, and l, pay attention to the position and angle, and use the shape tool to do it, the subsequent operations will be relatively simple.

Select the elliptical layers and combine them into a layer to add a stroke layer style. The stroke color is the same as that of the text, the settings are as follows:

Step 4: Details

Look at Doraemon's font. It's not just like simply placing a few pink ovans. He has a similar effect, so we need to link it with strokes.

Look, that's it. There is a radian that connects to the edges after an elliptical stroke. Then add Doraemon's materials, Bell and eyes:

 

We put the bell on the letter L, put the eyes on the letter Z, and adjust the size and position:

 

Step 5: two strokes

Select all layers. Of course, do not select the background. After the selection, create a group for these layers, CTRL + G, name it "text", and add a stroke layer style to this layer group:

Does this seem to be much more complete? Don't worry, there's another stroke! We turn this layer group into a smart object and add a stroke again, but this time it is black.
