The following describes how to enable the SLIC function (from the network ):

If you cannot see the SLIC version information on windows after some Dell BIOS refresh SLIC, You need to manually open asset. com pass: 12/31. The method is to start to DoS and input asset. com pass: 12/31 sets BIOS to factory mode. In factory mode, all function items are enabled, including SLIC certificates. In the Dell L10 factory, SLIC will be enabled if there is a system based on the user's purchase requirements during shipment, and SLIC will be closed if there is no system.

Note:

1. The asset command must be case-sensitive. If all the commands are in lower case, no Alt + F prompt is displayed.
2. After the asset command is successful, you must unplug the network cable and restart it. Otherwise, the network will be preferentially started after the restart, and there will be no Alt + F, ALT + F restart, after entering the system, you can re-insert the network cable. Everything is OK. This is because 12/31 enables the Dell factory mode and SLIC by default, but the factory mode startup sequence is network priority and cannot be adjusted.

Comparison of dashboard categories and command formats of Dell:

In the factory mode, the boot sequence is first from the soft drive, then the network PXE, and then the hard drive. The boot sequence cannot be changed. The hard drive works in the ahci mode. Download the latest bios of the corresponding host on the official website before refreshing. Make sure that the BIOS has an SLIC certificate. Before restarting the system, you need to dial the soft drive and network cable, and then press Alt + F to remove the factory mode. Although the factory mode is eliminated, all functions are fully enabled, but the BIOS options can be set by yourself.

Update and refresh the Dell BIOS:

First, if you download the biosfile as a gzcompressed package, copy the original biosfile and bios.gz into the USB flash drive (the original BIOS can be downloaded from the Dell official website, which is an EXE file, assuming XXXXX.. exe-readgzfile. Then go to the fl interface and press any key after verification.

Second, if the downloaded package is in the EXE format, you can directly run the package in Windows to upgrade and refresh.
