Firefox 3.6 official version release date finalized

After another round-trip, Mozilla made up its mind to release the official version of Firefox 3.6. Mozilla announced on its official website that the next major upgrade of Firefox 3.6 will be officially released at Beijing Time on January 21 at PST time.

Based on the Gecko 1.9.2 rendering platform, Firefox 3.6 is 3.5 faster than Firefox 20%, and more than 6000 plug-ins are provided for users to customize browsers. Firefox 3.6 is available in more than 70 languages to meet the needs of most users around the world. It improves the stability and security of browsers while improving the speed, providing users with a more powerful experience.

The main new features of Firefox 3.6 are as follows::

-Added Personas: Integrated Support for Personas. Click here to change the browser skin;

-Old Version plugin Detection: If the plugin version is old, Firefox will provide a prompt to ensure user security;

-Supports full-screen playback of Open-format audio videos;

-Supports the Web open font format WOFF;

-Supports new CSS, DOM, and HTML5 Web technologies;

-Supports drag-and-drop operations and desktop positioning sensors.
