Note:

1. Pick packages:

2. Modify the OS version:

3. Modify kernel parameters:

4. Create users, groups, and directories required for Oracle Installation

(1) Add groups and users:

Groupadd oinstall

Groupadd dba

Useradd-g oinstall-G dba oracle

Passwd oracle

(2) create an Oracle installation directory and grant permissions to oracle users:

Mkdir-p/u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1

Chown-R oracle. oinstall/u01

5. Set shell limit for oracle users

# Vi/etc/security/limits. conf

Add the following content to the/etc/security/limits. conf file:

* Soft nproc 2047

* Hard nproc 16384

* Soft nofile 1024

* Hard nofile 65536

Add the following content to the file/etc/pam. d/login to make the shell limit take effect:
