The recent computer old hint of space is not enough, is very upset, decided to study, why space so quickly spent.

, 256 of the space, there are a few g, one of the largest head of the system occupies: 160G, accounted for more than 60%, i le a rub ...

Under normal circumstances: we can click on the management to go to the System disk optimization interface:

This is useful for simple file occupancy analysis, where we can solve the problem of lack of space by cleaning up documents and recycling bins .

However, for the culprit, the system of 160G, how can we know her internal storage distribution?

Now, here's the point: about how to view the system's file occupancy details.

First, open the terminal, enter

Du-sh *

This command is used to view the size distribution of all files under the root directory:

Among them, we can easily see the size ratio of each file, quickly locate to the maximum proportion of the file: Library

Second, enter the command, enter the library file path

CD ~/library

Then, look at all the file size distributions under the library.

Input:

1 -H

It's easy for us to find the largest file:/developer

Of course, the other file size, we can also see, at a glance.

Three, to here, we basically can know the following routines, we can continue to look down

For example, I continue to go into the developer file, and then look at each of his sub-file sizes:

Basic, look at a two or three layer, basically can know the reason, my side because it is the program ape, so Xcode is the root cause, accounting for half the size of the system 160G.

So far, if you are also a program ape, interested, you can continue to look, if you are not interested, you can skip the fourth step directly.

Basically this is the end, the approximate space occupancy distribution from the above several pictures, but also basic.

However, unfortunately, for these files can be deleted, my side has not been tested, so now do not give a conclusion, here is mainly about how to view and analyze the steps.

Four, after the third step of the layer analysis, we can basically know the size of each file distribution, but also to find some unwanted files, most of which are cached files are mostly, we can properly clean ~

Finally, if you have a person who does not have a cold command, you can also use the Finder to visualize the view.

Open Spotlight (CTRL + SPACEBAR), enter ~/library

To access the resource pool file path:

The right-most file corresponds to the file you just ordered, and we can find the most occupied file according to the command, click here to view it, and then clean it according to your own needs.

For example, the path of my last analysis above:

Hope to be helpful to everyone ~
