Microsoft recently said it will launch a telephone system with Speech Recognition Feature on Monday to allow small enterprise users to have more flexible options than dedicated Small switches.
Microsoft will launch the "Microsoft Response Point" telephone system at its second annual Small Enterprise Summit, which will be held at Microsoft headquarters and on the Internet. Microsoft expects representatives from 30 thousand small enterprises and partners to attend the summit.
Jeff Smith, Senior Product Manager at Microsoft, said the Microsoft Response Point telephone system consists of software and telephone, which is very easy to install and manage. In addition, the Response Point system also includes a computer-based Management Console, which can be used by anyone familiar with the computer environment to modify or manage the system.
When using this system, you only need to press the "Response Point" button on the phone and then tell the system who you want to call to get through the phone. For example, a user can say "help me answer Jeff's work phone number", and then the system can dial the phone number according to the contact information recorded in the Response Point directory.
He added that either the network telephone system or the traditional telephone system can install the Response Point system and use it for management.
