Oracle Manager Server Installation Configuration

Install oms
Before logging on to oms, you must first install the oms service.

Start Oracle universal installer, check the installed products, and expand oracle main directory-oraHome92. If oracle9i management and integration is not available, it means you have not installed Oracle.

Installation Method: In the list of available products of oracle universal installer, choose to install oracle 9i management and integration or oracle management server.

Configure a management database

After the installation is complete, you need to configure a management database and start: Configuration and Migration tools? --- Enterprise Manager Configuration Assistant. In the configuration operation, select to configure the local oracle management server? Create a new database file? Typical. The system will createOemrepTo save the management information. You must specify the password of the sys and system accounts.

Log on to the Enterprise Console

After the installation is complete, start the manage server Service. In windows, you can directly start it in the background service. Its name is OracleOraHome92ManagementServer.

Make sure that other oracle services that are automatically started are also started. Then you can log on to the Enterprise Manaer Console,Account sysman password oem_temp. After the first login, the system will ask you to enter a new sysman password. If the "Incorrect Identity Authentication" prompt appears during login, make sure that your login account is sysman,
