Ii. Error description

R & D response, today they report a lot of Process "ORA-12801: parallel query server P004, ORA-08103: Object no longer exist" error. View the specific error information in their process

Errors reported by statements similar to insert into test select/* + parallel (a, 4) */* from test1

Iii. Cause and Solution
It has always been normal for such operations to be done before. If a fault suddenly occurs one day, the analysis ideas are still clear. (Generally, it is caused by changes to the database)

First, I checked ORACLE's alert Log and found no error. Then I asked a few colleagues and found that he was compressing some partition tables at the time when the error was reported. Further inspection and Discovery
All the tables involved in the error are compressed tables. From the analysis, we can boldly guess that the fault is caused by the compression operation.

I took our guess to look at the ORA-08103 error on MOS and found the following two notes:
1) "Getting ORA-1410 or ORA-8103 When Running Select Against Partition or Subpartition With Active Exchange (Doc ID 727597.1 )"
2) "OERR: ORA-8103" object no longer exists "Master Note/Troubleshooting, Diagnostic and Solution (Doc ID 8103.1 )".
From the two articles, we know how to perform truncate table and alter index on the related objects (Entity objects, such as tables and indexes) in the database .. rebuild, alter table .. move and other operations will change the data_object_id of the object.
If we perform the preceding operations on an object when a session is accessing the relevant object, it is possible to trigger an ORA-08103 error. Compressing table partitions is also a move operation (alter table aaa move partition PM201407 compress ;)
This will change data_block_id.

Iv. Solution
Do not change the table designed for the program while the program is running.
