<m> This article describes how to import data files (. pst) and set up mail accounts in Outlook2010. 1. Import data files. Click on the file-> open, select Open Outlook Data File, and then select the PST file you want to import.
After you import it, you can see that the previously saved messages have already appeared in Outlook.
Next, configure the mail account so that Outlook can send and receive messages through your mailbox and keep the message in the PST file that you just imported. 2. Configure mail accounts Click the file-> information-> account settings, select New account. At the Select service, select the first item, "Microsoft exchange,pop3 or SMAP", click Next,
Select "Manual Configuration",
Select the first item, Internet email, click Next, and then set up your mail account. Take the Gmail mailbox as an example, as shown in the following illustration:
Note that in order to send the configured mailboxes to and from the PST file that you just imported, you need to choose to deliver the message to, and then select the PST file that you just imported. Then click "Other Settings" and pop up the Internet e-mail Settings tab, Click on the sending server, select "My Send Server request Authentication"; Click Advanced to set the following figure:
Note that with the upper port settings for Gmail settings, other mailboxes need to be changed accordingly. Click OK, next, finish. |
