Making Stardust Brushes (Brush):

First of all, what we have to do, of course, is to create a homemade stardust brush!

Step 1: Open a new file

We will draw the brush on the blank image of the pen, what is the pen brush? The pen is the brush head, if it is a solid shape, drag the pen drawn out of the line is the end of the line is rounded; Similarly, if the pen is a different size of broken stars, pull the pen out of the line will be full of stars.

Let's press CTRL + N (Win)/Cmd+n (MAC) to create a 300x300 blank file, pay attention to the background content should be set to white. After pressing the OK button, you will get a square image of the white background.

Step 2: Select the Brush tool (Brush Tool)

Step 3: Set the foreground color to black

Step 4: Draw the pen shape

At the top of Photoshop, press the bottom triangle on the diagram side of the brush, and then select the Star-like brush size 55.

In Photoshop, there are other star brushes in other brush categories, but when preset, Photoshop doesn't load all categories into Photoshop, so we need to manually add the desired brush category to the brush plate so we can use them. In the assorted brushes brush category, there is a star brush suitable for us, add it to the brush plate!

First of all, at the top of Photoshop, press the drawing icon next to the Drop-down triangle (red circle 1), then press the triangle shown in red circle 2, then assorted brushes on the pop-up menu.

At this point, Photoshop asks us if we can replace the assorted brushes with the one in use, because we want to add assorted brushes to the set of brushes in use because we have to select (Append) attach.

When we press the bottom triangle of the top brush again, we find that the brushes is much more than before, because the brush of the assorted brushes class is added to it, this time, we choose the brush is the size of the 50 star-shaped brush.

Step 5: Save the new brush

We have completed the Stardust brush and it is time to store our homemade brushes. Select Edit > Define Brush Preset ... Then, give a name to the new definition of the brush, and we'll set it as Stardust Brush (Stardust Brush).

Step 6: Open the photo

It's time for the star dust brush to play the big time. Press CTRL + N to open the photo that you want to add stardust.

Step 7: Add a new image increase

Step 9: Set the Shape Dynamics of the star 麈 brush

First click the word on the left shape Dynamics and remember to click on the shape Dynamics instead of just the square, because the click of the square indicates that the shape Dynamics will be applied, and the click Text indicates that you want to set the shape Dynamics content. Shape Dynamics is used to control brush strokes when painting.

We set the control to Fade in Size jitter, so Photoshop will slowly shrink the end of the stroke, and the 50 on the right indicates that we want Photoshop to use 50 steps to slowly shrink the end size of the stroke to 0. It's a good shot, isn't it? A picture wins thousands of words, you can compare the preview pattern at the bottom of the image below and above. You can set the 50 as a different number, as long as you have a preview, you can find the best value.

Step 9: Set the Scattering (scatter) value

In the same way, we need to select the word scatering to change the scattering setting instead of the square. The value of the scatter affects the spread of the pattern, and we tick the Both Axes because we want the new values to be applied to the vertical and horizontal directions.

The value of Count and the density that affects the pattern.

The Count jitter can make repeating patterns look more random.

You can set the value of each item through a preset view.

Step 9: Set the Spacing value

Click Brush Tip Shape and then adjust the Spacing value so that we can define the tail length of the star 麈.

Step 10: Draw the Stardust

We intend to set the star 麈 color is white, so press D to set the foreground to black, and then press the X key to the background color intermodulation, now, the foreground is black. In the photo, use the Brush Tool to draw the stardust. We can also adjust the brush size by [or] our homemade brushes and built-in. If you like, you can also use different size of the dust brush to draw different sizes of the star track.

Step 11: Make Stardust more dreamy

Press Ctrl+j (Win) or cmd+j (MAC) to copy the Stardust layer.

Select Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur ... To blur the copied stardust. Radius values, you can find the best results by looking at the vision.

Finally, the layer pattern is set to lighten. Because, the stardust itself is translucent, set for lighten, the effect will not be too obvious, but we have to get used to this step.
