Step one: Create a new document with a size of 1000 pixels multiplied by 500 pixels, a resolution of 300pix/inche, and named "Home".

Step two: We're going to use the Earth's map next. You can download a picture of "color map" from planetpixelemporium.com and put it in your document as a new layer. Rename the layer to "Earth".

Step three: Now select: 3D > New Shape from Layer > Sphere. This will transform the map into a sphere, which is the basis of our next work.

Fourth step: Now the Earth this layer is already a 3D layer, you will see the layers of the panel in a small symbol of a cube. In PS, you can operate on a 3D model in a 3D layer. You can use the 3D tool to move or rotate the 3D object.

Step Fifth: Select the 3D rotation tool in the toolbar, rotate the earth to the position and angle you want, and hold down the ALT key or SHIFT key to keep the axis unchanged.

Sixth step: The Edge of the Earth now looks very rough, in the layers of the panel double-click the cube logo will be 3D panel, where you can make a lot of 3D layer adjustment. Make sure that "Scene" is already selected in the list above and then set Anti-aliasing to the best. So the edges will be smooth.

Step Seventh: Now select Global ambient color and then set the color to r:100, g:100, b:100, and then OK. This will lighten the color around the earth.

Step eighth: Now we need to add bump maps to the Earth's surface. Download "Bump map" from planetpixelemporium.com and save it on the desktop, select Sphere_material in the 3D panel, click the Edit bump map and choose to read the map. Choose a good picture of you just now. We are also going to make our earth glow, so adjust the glossiness to 100%.

Step Nineth: You can see that there are 3 light sources in the 3D panel, these are the PS default scene lights. Now let's change their style, color and position. Select "Infinite Light 1" and then adjust its colors to the color to r:150, g:150, and b:150. Select "Infinite Light 2" to adjust its style to point so that we can change its position. Adjust the color to r:180, g:180, and b:180. Select "Infinite Light 3", and the same style will be adjusted to point, the color set to r:130, g:130, and b:130.

Tenth step: "Infinite Light 3" is placed under the sphere somewhere, because we will then put the ball on a surface and add a projection, so we do not want any light source below the sphere, so use the 3D tool to place the light on top of the sphere.

11th Step: Now we want to do the surface of the Earth's clouds, in the layers of the layer of the plane and copy it to name "clouds", Open the "clouds" layer of the 3D property panel, select Sphere_material in the top list, click Edit Diffuse Texture This button and then select Remove Map. This will remove the existing map maps. How the image will look depends on the diffuse color, setting the diffuse color to white.

Click the Edit Bump Texture button and select Remove layer to remove the bump map, now we have a white sphere. We'll use another map for the clouds. We actually use the white diffuse color for the clouds and use its map maps for opacity. Download the picture "clouds transparency" from planetpixelemporium.com. Click the Edit Opacity Texture button, choose to read the map, select the "earthcloudmaptrans.jpg" file you just clicked.

The opacity map makes some parts of the sphere invisible, but it is clearly the wrong part. Click the Edit Opacity Texture button again and choose to open the texture. This will open the texture in a new window. Select Image > Adjustments > Invert. Save and close. Back to the "HOME.PSD" document, you will see that the opacity map has been updated.

It looks like cloudy weather now. Because we can see the clouds on the back of the sphere from the transparent part. To solve this problem, deselect the double-sided to make our material one-sided. Set the ambient color and reflection color to white.

12th step: To make the color more prominent, the three light source color is set to white.

Part 13th: Use the projection effect on the "clouds" layer and use the settings: The blending mode is set to Mutiply, the color is set to black, the opacity is set to 75%, the distance is set to 1px, and the size is set to 3px.

14th Step: Now that our planet has been completed, because we are merging our two layers before continuing, now is your last chance to adjust the angle of earth and clouds. Draw horizontal and vertical two guides that intersect at the center of the Earth. Select both the earth and the clouds layer in the layers panel, merging them, named Earth.

Step 15th: Move the earth up a bit with a moving tool, leaving room for projections and reflections. Use an inner shadow layer effect on the layer, and use the following settings: The layer blending mode is multiply, the color is black, the opacity is 100%, the angle is 90 degrees, the distance is 25px, the size is 46px, this will darken the lower part of the sphere.

Part 16th: Create a new layer named "Shadow" on top of the background layer, use the Ellipse selection tool to select a selection in the following figure, fill the selection with black, and then cancel the selection. Select Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur, set the radius to 7px, select Filter > Blur > Motion Blur, set the angle to 0 degrees, and set the distance to 250px.

17th Step: Copy the "Shadow" layer, by ctrl+t, length and width are set to 60%.

Step 18th: Select the earth layer in the layers panel and duplicate a layer, named "Reflection", delete the inner shadow, select Edit > Transform > Flip vertical to mirror the image. Place the "Reflection" layer below the "shadow" layer and place it as shown in the following illustration.

19th step: Add a layer mask for the "Reflection" layer, select the Gradient tool, and set the gradient to black and white. Use a gradient fill on the layers panel, which causes the reflection to darken.

Summary: Select "Reflection" entire layer in the Layers panel, select Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur, set radius to 2px, layer opacity set to 75%, select Gradient tool to fill the background layer with a blue to white gradient
