In power pivot, you can create data models from a variety of data sources based on your requirements, and you can refresh the data whenever you need to. In the previous article, Anna was ready to load the data into the power pivot. Power Pivot is one of the tools that creates and manages tabular data and relationships between tables in Excel.
Anna, after loading the NYSE and NASDAQ data into the data model, she also wanted to load a separate data table for S&p 500. She then went back to the data table she had previously searched and then, under the PowerPivot tab, chose add to data model.
When the table is added to the data model, Power pivot opens a separate form and then displays the data model that she just added. Similarly, she can also click Manage on the Power Pivot toolbar to locate the Power pivot form.
In the power pivot, as in Excel, tables are organized in the form of labels. Anna Double-click one of the tabs and rename it to SP 500, which will make the subsequent model organization clearer.
