Qlogic FC storage switch cmd configuration method

1. login switch: Telnet 10.0.0.1

2. Enter the user name and password: Admin Password

3. Switch to admin mode: Admin start

4. Switch to zoneset editing mode: zoning Edit

5. Create a zone. For example, create four zones:

Sanbox (Admin-zoning) #> zone create a-clu1

Sanbox (Admin-zoning) #> zone create a-clu1-2

Sanbox (Admin-zoning) #> zone create b-clu1-2

Sanbox (Admin-zoning) #> zone create b-clu1

6. Add the newly created zone to zoneset OS.

Sanbox (Admin-zoning) #> zoneset add OS a-clu1 b-clu1 a-clu1-2 b-clu1-2

7. Add the corresponding switch port to the newly created zone. For example, if the switch has 0 ports connected to control a, 1 port connected to control B, and 10 or 11 ports connected to node 1

Sanbox (Admin-zoning) #> zone add a-clu1

Sanbox (Admin-zoning) #> zone add a-clu1-2

Sanbox (Admin-zoning) #> zone add b-clu1

Sanbox (Admin-zoning) #> zone add b-clu1-2, 11

8. Save the editing of the new zone.

9. Activate zoneset: exit the zoning editing mode. In admin mode,

Sanbox (Admin) #> zoning active

10. View information

(1) view the Zone

Zone List

(2) view zone members

Sanbox (Admin-zoning) #> zone members a-1-6-1
