1.1. Install DOORS
This chapter describes how to install
Set Rational DOORS 9.3.
1.1.1. Install the License Server
Installation File Path: \ 192.168.1.52 \ Rational deployment materials \ DOORS.
1. Double-click ratllicenseservertl-2-0-0_windows.exe ", Open the installation interface, and click.
2. Select and click.
3. Select the installation directory of the License Server. The default value is here. Click.
4. Select the existing license file and license log storage directory. License log: the path is set by default or as needed. license file: select the pre-stored directory of the license file. Click. (You can also choose not to select the license file directory. After installation is complete, use LMTOOLS to select the license file directory. For details, see steps 7 and 8 ).
5. Click.
6. Click.
7. Click Start> all programs and select LMTOOLS as prompted ".
8. Click the config services option. In path to the license file, click, select the storage path of the license file, and click Save.
1.1.2. Install the DOORS Server
1. Double-click ratldoors_server_9-3-0_windows.exe "and click.
2. Select and click.
3. Specify the database storage directory of DOORS and click.
Select the specified storage directory. Here, select the DOORS_DATA directory of the d disk and click OK.
Click.
4. Select a typical installation and click.
5. Specify the DOORS database service directory and port number. "data directory" has been selected in step 3. Here, "port number" and "data directory" are selected by default. Click.
6. Click. The installation is in progress.
7. Click. The DOORS server has been installed.
1.1.3. Install the DOORS Client
Double-click ratldoors_client_9-3-0.exe and then click.
2. Select and click.
3. Select a typical installation and click.
4. Specify the database port number and Database Host Name. Set "database port" to 36677 as required in step 5 above and "Database Host" to the name of the DOORS server. Click.
5. Select and set the License Server port number and Server name. The default port number is 27000, and the Server name is the License Server name. Here, because the license server and the DOORS server are installed on the same server, the server names are the same as SCM-RDQA. After setting is complete, click. (You can also select "provide license information later" and change it in the environment variables, see Step 8 ).
6. Click. The installation is in progress.
7. Click. The DOOR client has been installed.
8. Set the license server port number and name from the environment variable. Right-click my computer and choose Properties> advanced> environment variable ". Locate "TELELOGIC_LICENSE_FILE" in the system variable and click.
Set the value of "TELELOGIC_LICENSE_FILE", which is the port number and name of the license server. Click Finish.
1.1.4. Information Initialization
1. After installation, set the Administrator password immediately. Double-click the "IBM Rational DOORS 9.3" client icon on the desktop. The following prompt is displayed: Set the password and create a new user. Click.
2. In the pop-up password box, enter more than six passwords and click to enter the DOORS system.
3. Click "Tools"> "Manage Users" to create the required user name. The following uses creating an administrator as an example.
4. Click.
5. Click and enter the User name: admin.
6. Click "security"-> "Change Password" and enter a password of more than 6 characters. Click to create a new Administrator.
1.1.5. Modify parameters from the Registry
If you want to change the database server port number and database storage directory, you can modify it by entering the registry.
1. Click Start> Run. Enter regedit to enter the registry.
2. Expand "my computer"> "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE"> "SOFTWARE"> "Telelogic" in sequence ".
3. Go to "DOORS_Server"-> "9.3"-> "Config". You can modify the values of "Home", "PortNumber", and "ServerData. (If you modify the database storage directory: In addition to modifying the content in the registry, you also need to stop the DOORS Database Service, copy the content of the old database directory to a new directory, and then start the service, in this way, the client can access the content in the new database directory ).

4. After the configuration content of DOORS_Server is modified, the configuration content of the client DOORS must be modified accordingly. Otherwise, the modified DOORS database cannot be accessed. Go to "DOORS"-> "9.3"-> "Config" for modification.
