2. Configuration Management Master Node
Using the root user login, the password is the password set for the installation process.

Preparation before installing the compute nodes
Connect the COMPUTE node NIC to the private network
Enter BIOS settings to ensure that PXE is available for the NIC
Configure properties such as the name of a compute node
Rocks Add Appliance N membership= "n" node=compute Rocks set appliance attr N attr=sge value=truerocks set appliance attr N Attr=bio value=truerocks Set Appliance attr N attr=managed value=true
The above command executes on the Management master node
These commands add a appliance called "N" and set its properties to support SGe, bio, managed.
An option called N is added to the.
The first command is to create a new appliance, under which the appliance node's name format is n-x-y, such as n-0-3
The next few are added for this appliance attribute, so that its nodes support SGe, bio and so on.
You can use the command Rocks List appliance to see all the appliance.
You can also use the command Rocks List appliance attr to view the appliance property values.
Add a COMPUTE node
Log in as root on the admin master node and open the terminal to execute the following command
# Insert-ethers will let you choose compute node Properties, select N, then OK. (n configuration is added above)
650) this.width=650; "src=" Http://s5.51cto.com/wyfs02/M02/89/F9/wKiom1gi4Mbx6CjiAAGHNooIuNA829.png "title=" 15.png "alt=" Wkiom1gi4mbx6cjiaaghnooiuna829.png "/>
The following interface appears to wait for the compute node to start the installation.

Turn on compute node power and go to network installation

After the installation is complete, it will automatically reboot to join the computer group.
Rocks management and Maintenance 1. Adding nodes
If you want to add a node to cluster, use it on the master node
# insert-ethers
Then set the network boot on the child node. for automated installation.
2. Add Users
Use the general Add User's command to operate.
# adduser Username # passwd username # Rocks Sync users
The special last line command is used to notify the child node of the added user information, otherwise the user cannot log on to the child node.
3. Delete a node
# Rocks Remove host compute-0-0 # Rocks sync Config
When you delete a child node and update the database, you must update the database, or the next time you add a node, the problem may occur.
4. Forcing the child node to restart the installation
# Rocks Set Host Pxeboot compute-0-0 Action=install # Rocks set host Pxeboot compute-0-0 Action=os
The first command is a sub-node network that initiates the reinstallation of the system, and the latter is a sub-node network that starts directly into the system. This will power down the cluster.
After the child node restarts, it is used without direct access to grub.
5. Display the cluster node list
# Rocks List Host
