"Tamude" said:"If you do not have any flaws, you will not be fooled. If you are deceiving people, there must be loopholes ."
The wise Jews know, "Know yourself, know yourself, and know each other ". Whether in war or in life, as long as you fully understand your opponent, find and use its weaknesses, you can achieve your goal.
In ancient times, a Jewish merchant came to a town to do business. He found that a batch of very cheap products were sold a few days later, and he stayed there waiting for the goods to be lowered. However, he brought a lot of gold coins around him, and there was no bank at the time to store those coins. It was not safe to go where the coins were heavy and inconvenient.
So he quietly came to a secluded place, and dug a hole in the ground while there was no one around him, and buried the gold coins in the cave. However, the next day he returned to the original place, but he was surprised, his gold coins are gone. He stood there in a dull manner and repeatedly recalled that no one saw his gold coins buried yesterday. Why did the gold coins disappear? He was puzzled.
At this time, he accidentally looked up and found a house in the distance. There was a hole in the wall of the house, right at the place where he buried the money. He suddenly thought, would he be the person who lives in this house, seeing his money from the wall cave, and then digging out the money? If this is the case, how should he get the money back?
The merchant thought of a way. When he came to the house and saw the man living in it, he politely asked: "You live in the city, and your mind must be flexible. Could you please ask me one thing ?"
The man promised, "Please let me know ."
The merchant then asked, "I am not a local. I come here to handle the goods. Now I have two wallets, one with 500 gold coins and the other with 800 gold coins. I have been quietly buried in unknown places. Now the question is, is it safer to bury this large wallet? Or is it safer to give it to trusted people ?"
The house owner replied, "If I were you, I wouldn't believe anyone. Maybe I will bury my big wallet and small wallet in one place ."
After the merchant left, the greedy man immediately took out his wallet and buried it in the original place. But as soon as he left, the merchant who was waiting not far away came back and dug up his wallet, he returned a lot of 500 gold coins to his hand.
The merchant's tactics are indeed brilliant. He knows that thieves steal because of greed. Naturally, the greater the value of the available things, the greater the greedy heart. Therefore, it is a lesson for him to use his greedy heart to let him spit out stolen things. The merchant is still asking the thief to come up with his own ideas. This means of confusing your opponent and achieving your own goals can be surprisingly successful.
We should never be greedy, because greed will give others a chance to seize the opportunity. We should not be afraid of greedy people. As long as you are willing to use your brains and hit each other's "weakness", you can defeat him.
