I recently bought a USB mouse and it feels good to use it. But the problem is coming soon. If there is a period of time (about 5 ~ 10 minutes) if you do not use the mouse, it will not work. No matter how you move the mouse, the arrow on the screen will not move. Unplug the mouse and plug it into another USB interface. It seems that the mouse quality is not a problem. After Repeated Research and tests, we finally found the problem: the original mouse uses the power-saving mode, and it will become "lazy" after not using the mouse for a period of time, sleep for a long time, but cannot "wake up.
This power saves a lot of trouble. Besides, it does not save much power. So I went to "Control Panel> system> hardware> Device Manager" and double-click "Universal Serial Bus Controller" (see figure 1). The problem lies in the following "USB root Hub. Double-click one of them and the "USB root hub properties" dialog box appears. In the "Connect device" Description on the "power" tab, you can see the USB mouse and power consumption (see figure 2 ). If you do not find the mouse, you can look at other "USB root Hub" until you find the USB interface used by the mouse. Find the device, click the "power management" tab, cancel the "allow computer to disable this device to save power" option, and then exit, so that the mouse can not find the reason to be lazy.
