VMware dual NIC Configuration

Background: To do glusterfs experiments, and then build 3 servers in the virtual machine, each server configured two network cards, one as a management port, a piece as a data transmission port. and implementation of one of the network card can be connected to the external network, another network card can only internal communication, other network segments can not be accessed.

Use a single virtual machine for example

Steps:

1. Set up the first NIC

   (2) Setting network card information

   [Email protected] ~]# Cat/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0

   Device=eth0//NIC Name
   ipaddr=192.168.11.140//IP set by itself
   netmask=255.255.255.0//Subnet mask
   gateway=192.168.11.2//Gateway, this is based on BOOTPROTO=DHCP

   after the execution of the route-n get
   dns=114.114.114.114
   Type=ethernet
   Onboot=yes//Boot auto start
   Nm_controlled=no//Do not receive NetworkManager management
   Bootproto=none//indicates static IP address

   [Email protected] ~]# cat/etc/resolv.conf
   NameServer 192.168.11.2//Restart network will generate this DNS yourself
