Preparation work

VMware Workstation installs itself in Baidu, this article uses VMware WORKSTATION10.

Installation steps

The first step:

Set the VMware workstation to bridging mode.

Open the VMware Workstation and click "Create a new virtual machine" in the upper-left corner of the home page. Or click the menu bar to select a file/new virtual machine

The second step: Select the Configuration method, here Select the typical fitting method.

Step Three: Install the installation source of the operating system. Here you choose to select the operating system source later.

Fourth Step: Install operating system and select the operating system and source. Since the CentOS 64-bit is downloaded, select Liunx 64-bit system.

Fifth Step: Install the operating system to set the virtual machine name and select the installation location.

Sixth step: Install the operating system to set the size of the disk.

Seventh Step: Install the operating system's custom hardware.

Eighth step: Customize the hardware settings memory, and network connection mode, and select the system image file.

Nineth Step: Install the operating system to complete. Look at the middle window information is not what you want, if it is a click to complete.

Tenth step: Start the virtual machine. And then wait.

11th Step: Select the language in the installation process.

12th step: Set up the main installation. Here only the software selection is set to minimum installation.

Software selection can choose to install the desktop and some of the column tools.

Note: If a yellow exclamation point appears in the installation location, simply enter and click Done to dismiss the exclamation mark.

13th Step: User settings. Here you set the root user password and create the user.

14th Step: Restart the virtual machine.

15th Step: Enter the account number and password to enter the virtual machine.

Note: Password input is not visible.

The installation of this virtual machine is complete, but the IP address needs to be set for basic use.

16th Step: Set up a fixed IP address using the ping command.

Ping the www.baidu.com discovery prompt after entering the virtual machine. The domain name or device is unknown.

The IP address then discovers that it does not have IP addresses for this device. For ease of use, it is set to a fixed IP address.

17th Step: Set the fixed IP address to locate the IP configuration file.

Enter the instruction cd/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts to this directory, and then locate the ifcfg-xxx IP configuration file.

18th Step: Set the fixed IP address of the modified IP configuration file.

First Use VI ifcfg-xxx to open this configuration file.

Modify the content as follows

bootproto= "Static" #dhcp改为static

onboot= "Yes" #开机启用本配置

Ipaddr=192.168.1.xxx #静态IP

gateway=192.168.1.1 #默认网关

netmask=255.255.255.0 #子网掩码

dns1=192.168.1.1 #DNS Configuration

19th Step: Restart the network.

Enter the service network restart to restart the network server. Then ping www.baidu.com.

Ping this virtual machine on the authentication host.

You can fly on the internet right now.
