The following records the installation process:
* Create a new virtual machine in WMware, such as
* In the "New Virtual Machine Wizard" screen that appears, select "Custom (Advanced)"
* Default Next
* Select "Install operating system later"
* Next select OS type, choose Ubuntu under Linux
* Name Virtual machine, this is necessary, post-Hadoop cluster deployment requires multiple virtual machines to be installed
* Allocate CPU and memory for virtual machine according to your computer configuration, recommended memory 2G or more
* Network type Default can be
*I/O Controller Type Default
* The following interfaces are in turn default
* So far, the new virtual machine setup is complete, WMware will create a virtual machine to meet the needs, the following will start to install Ubuntu, which is used in our official web download of the ISO file image.
Right-click on the installed virtual machine, go to "Settings" screen, select "CD/DVD (SATA)" item, because to load the image file, select "Use ISO image file", find the location of Ubuntu installation file, OK.
* Start the virtual machine and if the image file loads smoothly, it will go to Ubuntu installation interface as follows. Because I downloaded the desktop version of Ubuntu, the installation is more stupid.
* OK, wait for the installation to end
