Cost-effective overseas VPS brand Vultr VPS announces a new feature called "Reserved IPs", as the name implies to help you keep the server IP address for later use.
This requirement is because users often create new, delete a VPS server, the default is assigned to the random server IP address. If you are in the company of a certain size of server cluster, you prefer to keep the original IP address unchanged, saving time to modify the configuration.
Using the reserved IPs feature is very simple, how do you ask vultr to keep an IP address for you?
First you need to register vultr account for free, then click the reserved ips panel button in the background:
This feature charges $3/months, or $0.0045/hours per use, which is more cost effective.
You have 2 options to add an IP that you have never used, as a reserved IP, or to put an existing server IP in the IP pool you want to keep.
In the first case, click the drop-down you want to use the room, the IP type (IPv4 or IPV6 address), label is the tag, click Add, the new IP is reserved for your dedicated.
In the second case, click Convert Existing IP to Reserved, drop down to find your server IP, click on the right convert, the original server even if deleted, your IP will remain the same.
